Deri Tyton is an award winning filmmaker, teacher, and author.  He is also a past Fulton County Arts & Culture (Atlanta, GA) Grant panelist and recipient.  He holds a Liberal Arts BA from Chicago State University, and a MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University where he earned Class Salutatorian.  Deri writes for independent film, television and web series;  most recently, his web series, Love: The American Way (De La and Abiola's Story), was an official selection at the prestigious, 2023 Pan African Film Festival.  He has secured distribution for the majority of his films,  including his most recent feature film, FINDING FOREVER IN LOVE.  Deri's book, The Film Mechanic: The Process To Writing A Screenplay That Sells!, is a fresh, entertaining, and fundamental approach that focuses on helping writers tap in to the story they want to tell.
